Sponsorship

Asseco Poland SA actively pursues several sponsoring endeavors. It supports organizations operating in the areas of sports, culture and art, as well as local authorities in both financial and material manners.

Sponsoring activities are long-term, and are oriented on building durable relations with the beneficiaries.

As a sponsor, Asseco Poland SA actively participates in competitions for young, talented IT specialists – both at the school and university level.

Volleyball

The Resovia Sports Club is believed to have been founded in 1905! The volleyball team was formed as early as in 1937. A real breakthrough came for them in 1955, when the construction  of the ROSiR sports hall began to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the club.

Basketball

Asseco Prokom Gdynia is currently one of the most important, the most titled and the strongest basketball teams in Poland. For six years now, the Tri-City side has yet to find its equal in the Polish Basketball League. Each year, it has beaten all those who dared to try and claim the championship.

Sopot Tennis Club

The Sopot Tennis Club is one of the oldest tennis clubs in Poland, and in Europe. Such history places the club under certain obligation. The more that tennis traditions in Sopot reach as far back as to the turn of the 19th century. The history of tennis in Sopot began in 1897, when the first tennis courts were built, and the Sopot Lawn Tennis club seat’s construction began at what is now the Ceynowy street.

Łańcut Musical Festival

In the modern world, the concept of national culture would be nonexistent without support by sponsors. For the last 10 years, private companies have assumed a majority of the responsibility for financing cultural events in Poland. Asseco Poland SA also supports cultural organizations in their endeavors, like the Łańcut Music Festival that has been supported by the company for many years.

Information Technology Olympics

The Information Technology Olympics is a competition for over 1000 participants, whose IT knowledge goes far beyond the standard curriculum requirements at school.

Around 100 pupils are qualified to the great final. Among the laureates are Poland’s best IT specialists, who can become some of the best experts both in Poland and abroad.

Cooperative Banking Development Foundation

The Foundation was established in 1995 by two Founding Banks: GBPZ SA in Wrocław and BUG SA in Warsaw.

Currently, the Foundation operates at Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości SA – the largest organization of Cooperative Banks in Poland, formed by six Founding Banks: Gospodarczy Bank Południowo-Zachodni SA, Bank Unii Gospodarczej SA, Lubelski Bank Regionalny SA, Małopolski Bank Regionalny SA, Rzeszowski Bank Regionalny SA and Warmińsko-Mazurski Bank Regionalny SA.

Foundation: „AKOGO?”

Foundation "AKOGO?" was founded in 2002 by Ewa Błaszczyk-Janczarska and father Wojtek Drozdowicz (the author of the TV program for children ‘Ziarno’ (Seed), at present the parish priest of the formerly Camaldolite church at the Cardinal St. Wyszyński University (UKSW) in the Warsaw Bielański Forest).

The aim of the foundation, established by Ewa Błaszczyk "Akogo?", is providing help for children with severe craniocerebral trauma. Also, the purpose is to create in Poland the first model clinic (15 beds) with full infrastructure needed for simultaneous hospitalization and neurological rehabilitation.

Anna Dymna’s "Against the Odds" (Mimo wszystko) Foundation

The "Against the Odds" foundation is a public benefit organization, founded on 26 September 2003 by Anna Dymna. Foundation was established to rescue a group of adults with intellectual disabilities, living in Brother Albert’s Hostel in Radwanowice near Kraków (as a result of the amendment of the Professional and Social Rehabilitation Act of 20 December 2002), lost the right to attend Occupational Therapy Workshops financed by the National Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Fund.

TVN Foundation "nie jestes sam" ("you are not alone")

The TVN Foundation "nie jestes sam" ("you are not alone") was established in May 2001 by TVN. It is presided by Bożena Walter.

TVN bear all the costs related to maintanance of the Foundation, so that the money gained by it in its entirety shall be provided for pupils. Foundation for many years helping the heroes of TVN grand schemes („Pod Napięciem”, „Rozmoy w Toku”, „UWAGA!”,  „Faky”, or finally foundation “Zielone Drzwi” etc). However, this is only a fraction of cases undertaken by the Foundation.
